Does pure honey expire and will it go bad?

Pure honey has a high acidic level and low water content, a perfect combination that prevents bacteria from spoiling it. Pure honey stored in sealed containers can remain stable for decades. However, honey is susceptible to physical and chemical changes during storage; it tends to darken or crystalize. Therefore, Honey Bunga will not necessarily expire but will be less enjoyable to consume if stored improperly,

How do I store pure honey?

Honey must be stored in a sealed container at room temperature and away from direct sunlight. You can store anywhere in your kitchen but must never be refrigerated due to the likeliness of crystallization.

What happens to pure honey when you put it in the fridge? What do I do now?
If you accidentally refrigerate pure honey, it will crystallize, become thick and cloudy, and lose its original consistency. If this happens, just remove the lid from the jar/bottle, place the jar/bottle in a pan of water and warm it over low heat until the honey returns to its original consistency and enjoy normally.

Does pure honey attract ants?

Pure honey has less than 20% moisture and would not attract ants. However, as honey is exposed to the environment, it naturally draws moisture from the air to the outer layer of the honey, and will attract ants. Different honey will start attracting ants at different stages. Therefore, if the pure honey is kept properly and cleanly in its original container with no leakages, it will be ant-free!
